Dear Family and Friends, I’ve been saying I would launch my skincare for over 12 years now, and finally, after many trials and hundreds of iterations, I have some great formulations to share.

What a wild ride it has been! I can’t believe I am saying it, but NILCEUTICA is soft launching on December 17.

We will be in soft launch mode for a few weeks while we are testing the system to make sure everything works properly and orders go through without errors. Lots of discounts and samples will be offered for the first orders. Branding is still incomplete, and we will be adding/replacing the graphics and writings to the website.

I am trained as a scientist, and scientists are usually not taught how to be entrepreneurs, so I will learn as I go. Hopefully, my passion for what I do, and my love of learning will guide me along with my business mentors.

Why December 17? This year on December 17, my grandpa would have turned 99, and this is my way of honoring his birthday. He was my role model, and I keep remembering his words and quotes every day and miss him very much. #nilceutica

It might be a bit shocking but did you know that there are actually 7 main manufacturing companies who control most of the big beauty brands that exist today? And you have probably heard most of them: L’oreal, Estee Lauder, Procter and Gamble, Shiseido, Coty, Johnson and Johnson, and Unilever.

Whenever a small but promising skincare brand appears on the market that could potentially become a competitor, it is being bought by big companies. This is one of the well-known business practices for dealing with competitors.
So even if a brand was one day a person and problem led when it is being bought the values can drift away from what it had been when founded.
All my formulations are made for myself, family, and friends, and when you do something for yourself and your loved ones, you use all the best ingredients and never compromise quality over price.

I also strongly believe in the freshness of a cosmetic product, so everything is made fresh in small batches. #nilceutica

If a moisturizer and a serum had a baby, it would be a Hyaluron 3D Hydrator.

It was one of the most challenging formulations to develop, that gave me lots of sleepless nights.

I was trying to make multi-lamellar structures with many actives, and not all functional ingredients can handle it, especially those approved in organic skincare. Some can't tolerate electrolytes; some have a very narrow pH range or can’t accommodate high oil phase.

This formulation became an all-time favorite among my test group immediately and I am forever grateful to my friends, you gave very detailed feedback and helped to improve this formula!

Some of you probably got to try different versions of it where I’ve been testing different functional ingredients as well as actives and equipment used to create a multi-lamellar structure of this cream.

If you have dry skin, hyaluronic acid (HA) alone will be drying unless there is an occlusive ingredient in form of oil or butter (if we talk about organic skincare). So, I decided to include as much HA in my face cream as I would like to see in my high-concentration HA serum.

I use my Tight and Bright serum almost daily.
However, there are days when I don’t have time to put on my serums; I only have a few minutes to put on my moisturizer and sunscreen if it is daytime.

I wanted to create something that could replace all my serums for those busy days. This is where I decided to add all my cosmeceuticals one by one and test them for effectiveness and stability.

When you have many cosmeceuticals in one formula, there is a chance of irritation for sensitive skin. To counterbalance it, I included as many soothing ingredients as well, and after many iterations, the last version of the Hyaluron 3D hydrator was born, which stands as Experiment # 227.

So now this has become an all-in-one formula that is a potent moisturizer but will replace several of your serums as well due to clinically tested concentrations of the active ingredients. #nilceutica

Due to the dry nature of this product, many people are first confused. Then they fall in love.

This product has an immediate brightening and polishing effect.

This is a face mask that you need to add water to activate. Why?

Because Vitamin C in the form of L-ascorbic acid oxidizes very quickly in contact with water, this dry form ensures you get the freshest Vitamin C possible.
